Seoul, Korea Travel Diaries Part 2

October 15, 2015

October 7-8,2015

For the 2 days, we had our overnight trip in Jeonju Province. Jeonju Province is located at the middle of Korean Peninsula. Jeonju is known where royal people (during the Joseon dynasty) would live in.

What I love about Jeonju Province is that they are able to preserve its culture and history. Upon arriving Jeonju Province, tourists can experience a Traditional Korean Village, rent a hanbok and walk around for an hour. You get to experience going to museums and such. Also, the only portrait of the founder of Joseon Dynasty (Taejo Yi Seong-gye) is located in Jeonju. Before going back to Seoul, we saw preparations for the Sori Music Festival. It could have been nice if I were able to witness a festival held in Korea.

When going to Jeonju Province, I would recommend that you ride the KTX (Korean Train Express). It was a fast ride that it only took us 2 hrs to reach the said destination. It was also comfortable inside the train that you will feel like riding a business class plane.
